Safe Kids Training
Volunteers who are Basic Aid Training (BAT) Instructors, CPR and First Aid Instructors, and Instructor Aides teach life-saving skills to children ages 7 to 11. The training and BAT book consists of five (5) sessions that teach the child participants what to do in an emergency, disaster preparedness, the basics of first aid, bicycle and pedestrian safety, basic water safety, and information on stranger/abduction awareness. The lessons are interactive and hands-on so the participants develop an appreciation for learning safety and emergency preparedness through games, activities, and projects.

*After registering your child for safe kids training please remember to download the parent authorization form and fax to (562) 424-2821 or mail to 3150 E. 29th Street Long Beach, CA 90806.  The parent authorization form must be recieved before the class in order for your child to be able to take the class.
